On 14 March 2023, the UK Medicines regulator approved an application to reclassify the erectile dysfunction medication Cialis. When marketed asCialis Together(tadalafil 10mg), it will be a ‘P’ (pharmacy) medication, and so available ‘over the counter’ in pharmacies – see. This follows the 2018, ‘P’ classification of (sildenafil 50mg) which has been available OTC, without a prescription, since then.

Unfortunately, there is a strong black market in the UK for ED medicines, which are often unlicensed or counterfeit. UK Border Force and the MHRA seize millions of pounds of these fake products from criminals annually. This new classification of tadalafil 10mg will enable men who suffer from ED to obtain it safely from a local pharmacy.
Sanofi, the drug manufacturer, is expected to launch Cialis Together later in 2023. Cialis Together will be available to purchase in pharmacies without a prescription by men over 18 with erectile dysfunction. Cialis Together tablets will contain 10mg tadalafil and the maximum pack size will be 8 tablets. Other doses and pack sizes of Cialis and tadalafil will still be available on prescription through doctors and specially trained pharmacists. Before purchase in a pharmacy there must be an assessment with a pharmacist, who will check that Cialis Together is appropriate and safe, or whether consultation with a GP is necessary.
Men suffering with ED will have another treatment option with the convenience of purchasing it in their local pharmacy, including pharmacies found inside supermarkets (eg. Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s). The pharmacist will ask some health questions, may check blood pressure, and will advise on treatment with Cialis Together or Viagra Connect, or the need to consult a GP. Pharmacies usually have a private room for such discussions.
Cialis Together is a 10mg tadalafil product for use at least 30 minutes prior to anticipated sexual activity. Its effects can last. It is not recommended for daily use. The maximum recommended dose of Cialis Together will be one tablet in 24 hours. Prescription Cialis and tadalafil will still be available at different doses.
Dr Fox welcomes the wider access to ED medication for men that Cialis Together classified as a ‘P’ OTC medication will provide. We at Dr Fox are aware of the difficulties men have in discussing ED with their GPs and in accessing ED medication. We know that Cialis is effective and safe for most men and this change provides another option for obtaining ED treatment. Pharmacists are health professionals who are able to give ED advice but they will also know when to refer men who would benefit from a doctor’s assessment. ‘P’ medicines can also be supplied on prescription, and we will offer Cialis Together, when available, alongside our other competitively priced ED products.

What is it?
Viagra Connect is an over-the-counter pharmacy medicine, available online and instore, for men over 18 with erectile dysfunction (ED). Viagra Connect is the first erectile dysfunction medicine to be sold in Ireland without the need for a prescription. Viagra Connect contains sildenafil, the same active ingredient as the prescribed medicine, and is available in 50mg strength in packs of four or eight tablets. Viagra Connect should start to work within 30-60 minutes. Sexual stimulation is required. Always read the label.
Who should use Viagra Connect?Viagra Connect is available to buy online and instore for adult men (over 18 years of age) who have repeated symptoms of erectile dysfunction.
When is Viagra connect not suitable?If you are a woman, a man under the age of 18, or do not have erectile dysfunction, then Viagra Connect isn’t the right treatment for you. Some medicines and health conditions may mean Viagra Connect may not be suitable for you. What is Erectile Dysfunction?Erectile dysfunction (ED) is the inability to gain or maintain an erection, sufficient for satisfactory sexual intercourse. It is a very common problem, affecting half of Irish men over 50.
Most men will experience some sort of difficulty in getting an erection over their lives. This difficulty for some men will only be a temporary problem and will often be related back to a specific set of circumstances such as stress, tiredness or even alcohol intake. Erectile Dysfunction is only a problem when it is persistent and recurring. While Erectile Dysfunction is more common in older men, it can occur at any age.
Erectile Dysfunction can also be caused by physical conditions such as Diabetes, uncontrolled High Blood Pressure and Vascular Disease (this is the narrowing of blood vessels) and can be an ‘early warning sign’ of heart disease. Erectile Dysfunction can also be caused by conditions that affect your nerves and hormonal balance. Psychological issues such as stress, depression and anxiety can also contribute to Erectile Dysfunction. In most cases Erectile Dysfunction is caused by a combination of both physical and psychological factors.

Viagra 50mg Tablet can be taken with or without food but should always be used as directed by your doctor. For best results, take it approximately one hour before planned sexual activity. While the time it takes to work may vary from person to person, it usually starts acting within 30 minutes to an hour. This medicine works only when there is sexual stimulation. Do not exceed the recommended dose of one tablet in 24 hours.
Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medicine, as it can increase the likelihood of experiencing side effects such as dizziness or headache and may decrease the effectiveness of Viagra Tablet.
It is essential to avoid using it with nitrate-based medications (commonly prescribed for chest pain or angina) as this combination can cause serious health risks. Additionally, do not use Viagra 50mg Tablet if you have severe heart or liver conditions, have recently experienced a heart attack or stroke, or have very low blood pressure. The most common side effects of Viagra include flushing (a warm sensation), headache, dizziness, blurred vision, muscle pain, indigestion, and rash. What is ViagrasrowingViagra 50mg Tablet is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. It works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, promoting blood flow, and the medication can be used with other medications to enhance erectile function. You can find this element in this product through your doctor's prescription, as it can be taken between doses of up to the dose suggested by your doctor.
Try to try at least 1 dose per 24 hours, and you may take it before sexual activity. While the exact amount should be based on the condition being treated (either improving symptoms or treating common side effects), it can be taken in more than one dose.
Do not use Viagra 50mg Tablet if you are allergic (hypoactive sexual-stimulation cells), have heart rhythm problems (such as right atrial or pulmonary atrial cardiomyopathy), take blood thinning (such as sulfonamide use), take depressive or anxiety medicines, take riociguat (or other guanylate cyclase stimulators) without discussion in your doctor (for example, if you have depression or anxiety).
Inform your doctor if you are taking nitrate-based medications (commonly prescribed for chest pain, angina, or certain heart conditions) before taking Viagra 50mg Tablet if you have any of these rare genetic (dehydration) conditions and are also taking medications that can cause dilation/prolonging of the blood vessels in the penis (for example, alpha-blockers, statins, penile implants, alpha -blockers, HIV protease inhibitors, or penile prostaglandins).
The most common side effects of Viagra are flushing ( warm feeling in the leg), headache, dizziness, blurred vision, muscle pain, indigestion, and rash. If these side effects become bothersome, your doctor may change your dosage or suggest an alternative treatment.

A man who was ordered to pay for two pills of Viagra was sentenced to five years in prison in federal court today. Michael Tuckman, 40, of Westbury, N. J., has been charged with two counts of criminal charges related to his involvement in the fatalizer of a fatal drug known as "Sildenafil" on November 16, 2012.
Tuckman was indicted last year by a federal grand jury in Philadelphia on charges that he had used the drug, Sildenafil, to heighten the blood pressure in the lungs of a male, and that he then took it on behalf of a grand jury, where he pleaded not guilty.
Tuckman is charged with two counts of criminal conspiracy, one count of introducing and distributing a false drug drug card and the other of introducing, trafficking in misbranded drugs, and introducing, trafficking in misbranded drugs, all of which were discovered in a store in Westbury, N. J. On the first count, Tuckman allegedly took $5,000 from the store to pay for a $4,000 gift, and then sold the gift to a third party. On the second count, Tuckman allegedly distributed misbranded drugs in his own store without prescription.
The defendant then pleaded not guilty to the second count and was released from prison, and his first attorney was suspended for a year, and he is scheduled to be released today.
Tuckman faces up to three years in prison for the conspiracy charges, and a minimum of three years for the misbranded drugs charges.
Tuckman was sentenced to $15,000, and $10,000 for each count.
Tuckman was released from prison on November 14, 2012 and was released from the United States on January 29, 2013.
According to a court-supervised notice, Tuckman was convicted in Philadelphia on March 25, 2012.
